The Right of Suffrage has taken root in North American. Texas (1872) and Deseret (1870) allow women to vote in elections. Texas has gone further and given the vote to all adults over 18, including the natives. Deseret however still has denied the vote to natives and freed people. The USA and CSA have strong woman's suffrage movements but not state has given women the vote to date. (1881)
Historical Note - The Utah Territory did give women the right to vote in 1870. Wyoming Territory did so in 1869, and refused to join the Union as a state unless they were permitted to keep it. That is a whole 50 years before the 19th Amendment.
